Over 30% of Indian internet users put their personal information at risk of being stolen via public Wi-Fi.
(CCM) — Indian web users show do not hesitate to share their personal information, such as credit card details or emails, on public Wi-Fi — even at the major risk of being stolen. A global survey by Intel Security revealed that over 30% of Indian users access, survey, or share sensitive, personal information using public internet hotspot. The South Asian country topped the list of 14 countries surveyed for the study, followed by Mexico (19%) and Brazil (18%).
